Recently, I wanted to pay an account after I had eaten lunch at a restaurant in Ankara. I said I wish I could pay with my accumulated tokens. But although blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency industry are very promising, they have not been on this level yet. There has not been a blockchain solution for instant payments. When I was disappointed for the incapability of paying with cryptocurrency in the real world, I just saw the PumaPay Project. This project was just the project what I was meaning.
I believe that blockchain-based payments are the future, and it’s just time someone replaced the outdated centralized payments system. It seems that PumaPay is a candidate for this development. PumaPay’s open-source is Pull Payment Protocol. This protocol is a comprehensive blockchain solution that it offers robust payment mechanisms far more credible, efficient, flexible, cost-effective, and scalable than current implementations. It has got enough potential to overcome existing hurdles and offers a set of tools developed to facilitate onboarding processes for both businesses and individuals.
As we know some companies as LoadedCash, AEBN, and Xbiz have already signed up with PumaPay and the current list of active partners also includes brands such as FashionTV, Backpack, and Moburst. But of course, the real aim of PumaPay is being in local grocery stores and gyms to online dating sites, payment processing companies, e-commerce brands, and more in every corner of the world. Who knows, maybe ıt becomes the default payment method worldwide at the end of the day.
